Description

Sorry I keep reuploading this aaa for some reason the file always turns out odd?? This is the last time I promise
But this is Barley and Ravenpaw! I love them both very much and they're super cute aa.
This new style is so easy to work with tbh?? I love it. Also woah I added a background I need to do more of those
I hope you all like it!
I appreciate any feedback or critique I'd love to know what you like or dislike! Or even what I should draw next

This piece of art is lovely. From the unique cat pelts to the fading background, it makes itself stand out. The technique is wonderful. The background looks wonderful and the cats themselves look nice.
The things I would change about this piece are the head shape of the cat in front
(I think Ravenpaw), it makes him look like a dog, and the shading on this cat is a bit too bright. If it were to be blended a bit it would look much nicer and realistic.
This picture doesn't have much of an impact on me though. I read the books- all the books- but to me this doesn't speak the way I would expect. Though the art itself is very good, it doesn't seem to have much emotion. Ravenpaw did get a lot happier with Barley but the way he is drawn he still looks very young, and back then he was always scared. I think it would be a lot better looking if Ravenpaw were looking up at Barley with a half open-mouthed frown.
But overall it is a very nice piece that I would recommend to anyone that has read and liked the books. Great Job! <3
